Going South!

So I got a chance to go to New Orleans, LA and Biloxi, MS with my old college roommate Kim. It was super awesome to go and see first hand the remnants of Hurricane Katrina. Even a year later, you could tell that both cities were a complete shadow of what they once were. Businesses are still very slow to coming back, but it's slowly coming back to life. I'll post a link to pictures while I was there once I get them developed, but until then, you can check out the link to the organisation I was working with, Hands On, and their blog has lots of pictures just like what I was working on. I worked on the Thornton House project and also a house gutting project. It was an awesome experience and I hope you have a chance to check it out!

Yay for me! I got a[nother] job! The only Malaysian restaurante in Orange County, coincidentally. It's tons of fun and I get a free Malaysian dinner everytime I work. Yay. I put the link to the restaurant's website on the sidebar if you're curious. Mmmm....
